What does a typical day in your life look like?
I am a designer and artist and have my design and art studio in my home and I like to dedicate the same to each, 50 per cent design and 50 per cent art.

What does your studio look like?
A large 225 square foot room, with 4 large windows and a door, the floor is covered in canvas and the walls have reminants of past work. A table in the middle and 2 walls dedicated to new work so I usually have 2 pieces going at the same time.

Tell us one unique thing about you / your art.
I am a designer and artist so all my design clients have my artwork as well.

Hunger by Ron Curlee

What do you love most about being an artist?
The thing I like most is to see someone's face light up and a huge smile fill their face when they purchase a work of art or see the completed commission piece. I am filled with joy and know that everytime they look at that canvas, they will smile and feel the same way they did when they first purchased it.

Which is your favourite artpiece so far and what is the story behind it?
I cannot select a favorite. I have such a wide range of work from portraiture, to minimal and all have special meaning to me.

What are 3 things you can’t live without in a day?
Coffee, accomplishing something every day, and looking at myself in the mirror and loving who I see.

Where do you get inspiration when you need it most?
I get inspiration from everything around me, good design, a puddle on the street, leaves, and one of my favorite things is to visit art galleries and museums.

What does success look like to you?
Being respected for what I do and what I have done, and with that having too much work to keep up with.
