Frida Nettelbladt (b. 1990) is an artist, illustrator and photographer and works as a conservation biologist. Her exploration of the natural world through the watercolor medium has led her to be noticed as a skilled illustrator. She is regularily published in several swedish nature magazines, including Vilda Växter and Roadrunner, as well having illustrated information material for nature tourism in her hometown Halmstad. Her personal work is best appreciated at Galleri 70 in Halmstad where she holds a permanent exhibition space, toghether with other members of the artist community that is associated with the gallery.

The making of art married to the passion for nature has created an unique style that draws inspiration from scientific illustration and naturalisic painting but aims to bring out that magical note that is always present in the human perception of nature. Frida invites the viewer to really look, and see the vibrance present everywhere around us.
