Nandita Mukand is a Singapore-based visual artist investigating materiality to question the impact urban life has on our experience of time and the meaning we give to our existence.
Having quit her corporate career of 8 years with MNCs like Proctor and Gamble to devote herself full-time to art making in 2008, Nandita graduated at the top of her class with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (First Class Honours) from the LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore in partnership with Goldsmiths, College of London. She has exhibited in Singapore and Australia (including solo and 2 person shows) as well as been on artist residencies. Recently she was invited by the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery, Australia to exhibit as their first international artist-in-residence.
Nandita is also an alumna of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, India and has a degree in Electronics Engineering from Lucknow University, India.
