Rafail Kokkinos

United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Rafail Kokkinos is a Greek painter currently living and studying (Fine Art, year 3) at Norwich University of the Arts. His work is fueled by his own feelings of uncertainty, as well as certain traits of the human condition, such as human relationships, consideration of religion or a higher power, and the destruction of nature by man. His paintings by themselves are unpredictable, altering as often as his thoughts and state of mind does. At the same time, Kokkinos attempts to make his paintings highly ambiguous to encourage the viewers to use their imagination, think independently and find their own meanings and interpretations about his works.
