I'm a young emerging artist and a recent graduate, who has been working in the arts since 2007. I predominantly work in the mediums of painting, drawing, printmaking and ceramics.
My beautifully disturbing body of work has been about morphing human bodies and animal heads, relating their emotions, environment, body language, and expressions. Showing us their doubts, fears, and insecurities, creates tension and power plays between the viewer and my characters. Are we in their fantasies or is it a reflection of ourselves? In the end, it is our choice to see what we want to see, to believe what we want to believe.
